With chef Oliver Peña at the helm, bringing experience from Michelin-starred kitchens, and Lorenzo Cavazzoni, executive chef of the Grand Hotel Central, Can Bo vins & tapes offers a menu that celebrates tapas and sharing plates, highlighting fresh, local ingredients paired with selections from our extensive wine cellar.

A meal isn’t complete without Spain’s national drink, and at Can Bo vins & tapes, wine is centre stage. Sommelier Amador Marín has curated a list of over 100 labels from diverse wine regions, featuring local and national vineyards as well as international selections, with a particular focus on French and Italian wines.

With its own independent street entrance, the restaurant has been designed by London’s Sagrada studio. It stands out for its elegant Mediterranean décor, large windows streaming with natural light, and a cosy yet sophisticated ambiance—ideal for dining in the vibrant heart of Ciutat Vella.

Fun Fact about Can BO

Our restaurant's name, Can BO, is deeply rooted in the history of the building that houses both it and our hotel. The name, Can BO, has a clear phonetic link with "Cambó," the surname of the visionary who commissioned the building we occupy. The word "Can" in Catalan evokes the idea of home and belonging, so it comes as no surprise that Francesc Cambó lived here in the 1920s. Our cuisine really lives up to the name too, "BO" means good, with appetizing gastronomic connotations.
